Our team are cyber security experts, with experience in IT, systems engineering and OT and OT security infrastructure.

Our story

Our origins lie with Vector Ltd, a New Zealand company with a long history in the infrastructure and energy sector and expertise across many areas.

Equalise is a wholly owned subsidiary of Vector.

The objective of Equalise is to help uplift the security posture of its customers by providing greater visibility of potential cyber security threats.

The underlying technology we use leverages many of the tools and experience that Vector has built as part of its own security operations. Equalise currently offer a range of security services to EDBs across New Zealand.

Richard has recently rejoined Vector after six years as a Cyber partner within a large consulting firm. Richard is an experienced IT/Digital executive with over twenty five years of success driving strategic technology initiatives across diverse industries. Proven expertise in optimising Cyber/IT investments, fostering high-performing teams, and delivering mission-critical digital functions and services.

Richard brings over fifteen years of sales experience within the information technology sector with a well-defined understanding of the business technology interface. Richard has a wealth of experience and provides value to our customers through his transparent and knowledgeable analyses of business requirements and solutions. His customer engagement is based on real needs, with a view of creating a business relationship for continued support and improvements to ensure enduring customer satisfaction.

Gavin Naidoo

Cyber security service delivery manager

Gavin brings more than fifteen years of experience within the information technology industry across the energy and building sectors. Gavin is the Equalise cyber security relationship manager and provides value through the delivery of excellent business outcomes for customers, solving complex problems, and customer support whether as an escalation point or through monthly reporting and cost management.

Joshua Reedy

CISSP, CISM, Security Leader, Manager

Since the early 2000’s Josh has worked in the critical communications and infrastructure sectors. Josh has diverse expertise, spanning Security Operations, Design & Architecture and Incident Response. He also has significant experience in delivering cyber services to customers via Managed Services and positioning cyber risk within organisations through governance, risk and compliance activities. Josh has led numerous teams and projects to secure critical infrastructure, working closely with large organisations and government agencies to help protect customers and, more broadly, the New Zealand public.

Our story
